Job description
Functions and Responsibilities:
?Define continuous improvement solutions, sharing best practices with other logistics managers in the group.
?Manage the people in charge of daily operations for import, pick&pack, delivery and transport, animating with them as well a continuous improvement approach to reach operations excellence in their domains too.
?Understands business strategies, goals and programs
?Define the target Service Level, Product availability in store / E-Commerce and DSI (Days Sales of Inventory).
Core Responsibilities:
?Ensure that import process is smooth and quick, in the respect of regulatory constraints
?Review transport plan to customers, to get the best possible service at a competitive cost.
?Regularly challenge and review market shares between transporters
?Define and implement a high quality in the packing method used for web fulfillment, ensuring a customer experience comparable to the one in brick & mortar stores
?Ensure the Customer Service staffing/competences will be aligned with cultural change in the Customer Service teams, so to move the approach from “delivering orders” to “managing Retail Store inventory.
?Build a customer service team structure based on local business (Sell Out vs Sell in), targeted on productivity ratio define by central and according to secure split responsibilities audit rules ;
?Ensure that each team member will have a complete training based on the knowledge of processes and the available tools
?Define the right communication processes with e-commerce department to optimize
?e-commerce stock levels whilst ensuring product availability for windows, e-mailings and e-operations (double eleven,…)
?Provide all the information concerning products life cycle to e-commerce department so they may update the website offer
?Help the Supply Chain Director to identify the most optimized transportation organization and replenishment frequency which will drive the transportation cost ;
Experiences/Competencies Required
? Fluent in English
?Service and problem solving orientated
?Understands end to end logistics processes as well as market needs
?Results driven
?Convincing and Influencing
?Proven attention to detail / accuracy
?Good communication skills, verbal and written
?Strong relationship builder
?Planner / well organized
?Experience of operational logistics
?BA/BS Degree in Economics, engineering, logistics or related field.
