Liability Underwriter
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
1.To contribute to the profitable development of the Casualty lines of business (CGL, Products Liability, Special Liability, D&O...) of AXA in L&C Dep. in China
2.To ensure high level of client satisfaction and retention through attentive service and reliable underwriting technique
3.To develop market presence and connections with various business sources (brokers, agents, ceding companies...)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Actively contribute to grow (clients retention and new business acquisition) a profitable Liability book of business based on sound underwriting technique
2.Analyze risks, exposure and adequate pricing on the basis of underwriting guidelines and in close supervision of Line Manager and Global Technical Manager
3.Face the market and develop a convincing client & broker marketing development strategy.
4.Handle existing accounts both from International (Reverse Flow) and Local sources
5.Take part in innovation projects, new products initiatives and promote AXA brand and values
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Bachelor degree or University equivalent
2.Minimum 3 years experience in direct insurance/reinsurance/broking, consistent experience in underwriting or claims handling is preferred
3.Positive experience and success in client management
4.High team work spirit and good communication skills
5.Ability to take initiatives and formulate and implement new ideas independently
6.Ability to adapt and handle new pricing tools and methodologies
7.Confident personality, clear thinking, good at uniting heterogeneous interests and sensitive to numbers
8.Languages: Chinese with good English skills (written and spoken)
