职位描述
Summary of essential job functions
? Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
? Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site.
? Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot servers.
? Troubleshoot and Resolve technical issues.
? Implement and test new systems and configurations as needed.
? Performing all other related duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
? Bachelors Degree
? 1-3 years of system administration experience
? Experience maintaining Microsoft and Linux environments.
? Experience working with Microsoft Server 2008 R2/Internet Information Services (IIS).
? Understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, and routing
? Experience writing Linux shell scripting & Windows batch files.
? Experience maintaining router, switches and firewall.
? Basic communication skills in English.
Desirable Experience (none required):
? VMWare virtualization and managing virtual machines.
? Oracle 11g database backup /restore.
? Server monitoring software e.g. hyperic hq.
? Subversion version control system.
? VPN e.g OpenVPN
