Nautilus Food (Shanghai) company limited, a French, dynamic company established in China for about 10 years is looking for expending its business. To support our expansion projects we are looking for a Quality Controller.

Overview
The Quality Controller is responsible under supervision of the Managing Director for maintaining product safety and quality; while assuring the factories production meet both regulatory standards & Customer specifications.

 Job responsibilities
- Performs on-site inspections and report results to overseas costumers on Seafood products
- Ensures product safety, regulatory compliance, and compliance with costumer standards as stated in the Specifications.
- Order, monitor and evaluate 3rd part lab tests.
- Control factories and ensures compliance including environmental, sanitation, and products quality controls.
- Provides training and resources for plant personnel in quality and food safety practices.
- Define corrective action plans to resolve all quality issues and monitor their implementation
- Review product labels to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy.
- Maintains raw material specifications, ingredient testing program, and qualifies vendors.
- Maintains all quality related documentation.
- Perform QC service audit with report for costumers.

Position requirements:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Good computer skills
- Familiarity with Kosher, Halal, BRC, IFS, HACCP, MSC certifications preferred
- Familiarity with sanitation systems and procedures
- Ability to communicate in English
- Autonomy & strong mobility (need to frequently travel to factories)
- Extensive knowledge on Seafood products both Canned and IQF processes

Applicant profile required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Food Science related discipline preferred or associates degree with relevant work experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in QA/ QC in a food environment.
- Factory experience would be a plus
- Always favoring clients’ interest, dedicated to company & having strong ethic

Remuneration:
- 4500 RMB gross salary per month negotiable according experience.
- Mobile phone fees partially covered.
- Business trip allowance.
- Social & one medical check-up per year covered by company.
- Public holidays compensation working days are offered as employee welfare by company (8 days per year).
