Responsibilities
1. Communicate, present and drive companywide quality initiatives.
2. Promote and establishing process quality control in all our factories and assist factory in developing product based process control plans and document the key parameters on inspection protocol to be monitoring throughout the production.
3. Lead and organize PMI Shanghai QE to conduct supplier quality audit and supervising the corrective actions and improvement plans.
4. Coordinated process control efforts and provide product risk assessment by participating in the product development process, and maintaining excellent communication across the Quality Team and across all PMI offices.
5. Continuously improve PMI quality system in updating operation procedure, regulatory compliance, automate forms/process by utilizing current system and MIS resource.
6. Train and educate new factories in compliance with PMI’s process control and quality standards.
7. Mentor and train QE staff on process control, and utilize quality tools for trouble shooting and analysis.
8. Handling customer quality compliant response and provide guidance to QE on finding root cause and verify prevention actions.
9. Ability to conduct professional presentation to the customer and hosting events relation to quality.
10. Determine if factory or product process control/level and quality standard are appropriate. Provide input to Factory Management on factory quality goals and level of attainment
11. Provide project process control and product quality information to PMI PD team to insure continuous process improvement in design and engineering work.
12. Monitors and balance the resources and staffing levels to support the operation plans.
13. Ability to lead teams and develop team members to larger role of responsibility.
14. Represent PMI with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
15. Adhere to PMI policies and support Management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner.

2. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone.
3. Solid word processing and computer database skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Engineer/Manager Certification, or equivalent related experience.
2. More than 10 years working experience.

Interaction and Environment
1. Reports To: Sr. Director of Supplychain – PMI Shanghai
2. Work areas are inside in a climate-controlled environment with moderate background noise.

Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions
1. Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 95% of time is spent working at a desk. Balance of time (approximately 5%) is spent moving around work areas.
2. Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers and outside agencies, by telephone and in person.
3. Vision: Ability to effectively use a computer screen and interpret printed materials, memos and other appropriate paperwork.
4. Lifting/Carrying: Ability to transport files and supplies.
5. Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to access files and supplies.
6. Reaching/Handling: Ability to input information into computer systems and retrieve and work with appropriate paperwork, equipment and supplies.
