职位描述
Work Experience:-
1) Engineering background, able to use AutoCAD and Solidworks.
2) At least 5 years working experience in the machinery industry as an engineer, sales or project manager in weighing, sack filling, sealing and palletising equipment.
3) Experience of working with overseas companies and foreign assignments would be an advantage.
4) Experience or knowledge of sourcing and purchase of goods from manufacturers and suppliers would also be an advantage.
Technical Skills:-
1) The successful candidate must have a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and at least a basic understanding of electrical and pneumatic components.
2) Once a project has been identified, the candidate must have the ability to create a site plan of the factory area in order that he/she or Pacepacker are able to create a layout of the required new machinery.
3) Be accurate in taking measurements and details to avoid mistakes and errors in communication.
4) Skilled in use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
5) Good written and verbal English language skills are essential.
Managerial Skills:-
1) Able to work on multiple projects at any one time and prioritise a variable workload.
2) Able to meet clients as necessary to discuss projects and Pacepacker products.
3) Be able to question contacts at an enquiry stage to capture all relevant information necessary for Pacepacker to specify the best working solution.
4) Be able to travel to client's sites as necessary to support Pacepacker.
Personal attributes:-
· Hardworking and willing to undertake over-time as necessary.
· Ability to work with a range of different people and personalities.
· Willingness to take telephone calls out of normal working hours.
· Ability to keep deadlines and work to an accurate project time line.
· Positive attitude to customers and eager to win new business.
· Able to handle criticism
· Able to follow instructions
· Able to ask for help and advice when necessary -not afraid to ask questions
· A positive, enthusiastic attitude.

Qualifications:-
The successful candidate will probably have a degree or similar National qualification. Numeracy and a reasonable ability in basic applied mathematics are essential.
Location:-
The role would be based in the PPMA office in Shanghai. In accordance with the terms of the employment agreement the candidate will take responsibility for all works relating to Pacepacker Services. Support will be provided as necessary by Tiger Wang and Craig Chen who are also located in the PPMA Shanghai office.
Training:-
Initial training will be provided by Pacepacker Services in the UK. Further visits and trips to the UK will be forthcoming on an as-needed basis.
Given these requirements it is likely that the role will ultimately be filled by a Project Engineer or similar with good communication skills and the ability to travel away from home as necessary. The candidate will also exhibit the ability to manage multiple enquiries and projects at any one time.
