Position Title: GTO- Senior Customs Compliance Specialist (22902BR)


Position Description

? To update and analysis the relevant policy/regulations in Trade area, focusing on preferential tariff programs, Processing Trade, Bonded Warehouse operation and management.
? To ensure that personnel and subsidiaries are compliant with government regulations related to the import and export of goods and services, bonded material management, specifically those enforced by related government authorities.
? To assist in developing compliant and pro-active procedures on China and Global Customs matters (i.e., HTS classification, price valuation, country of origin marking, FTA, bonded warehouse, processing trade and so on)
? To assist on the new project from customs compliance perspective and to contribute on enhancement/implementation to the new projects.
? To deal with government authorities on questions, audits and investigation as well as internal audit on business area/unit in trade and customs compliance area.
? To work closely with other functions to provide necessary technical customs support on a daily basis.
? To identify opportunities to drive costs down and improve performance on the customs operations by reviewing import/export/customs related process.

Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree - Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics or related.
? 5 years or above of working experience in Customs and Trade area.
? Professional understanding of PRC Customs and Trade laws and regulations.
? Broad and deep knowledge and experience on processing trade operation and management, bonded warehouse operation and management, FTA operation are essential.
? Risk adverse, where needed, with the excellent ability to identify potential solutions in complex problems
? Good knowledge and experience on working with Customs Compliance system.
? Good presentation skills. Excellent negotiation and communication skills with both internal and external (like government authorities) are important to the success of this position.
? Ability to work and self-learning independently in Customs environment which always changes quickly
? Good English skills, both oral and written
? Willingness to travel (domestically and internationally)
