Position Title: GTT- Manager Aftermarket & Product Related Services Asia（21120BR）
Position Description:
Global Product Planning is a global organization that should secure the competitiveness of the products and services, over time, for the Truck companies within the Volvo Group. The mission is to build a successful product and service portfolio that:
Drives profitable growth in vehicle sales and in the aftermarket business
Captures global platform advantages
Meets market needs through multiband offer
Bundles products and services in efficient transport solutions
We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced member to a challenging position within Volvo Group Trucks Technology Global Product Planning Aftermarket and product related services
Main Responsibility:
？ Develop a deep understanding of key market segment needs when it comes to vehicle related Soft Products
？ Conduct and participate in product planning investigations, product clinics, customer surveys, and competitor comparisons.
？ Actively pursue customer input at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, truck shows, etc.
？ Spend at least 20 days per year in direct contact with customers through both formal and informal activities.
？ Prepare and distribute large project requests to the development organization in the form of project pre-requisites, in a timely fashion with regards to Soft Products.
？ Prepare and distribute small project requests to the development organization in the form of Product Modification Requests (PMR’s) with regards to Soft Products
？ Be responsible within assigned projects to clearly identify customer needs and facilitate fact-based trade-off’s during design discussions in order optimize the product offering with regards to Soft Products.
？ Prepare and present decision material for projects and PMR’s.
？ Develop roadmaps and plans within the GPPL network and support the Product Strategy work.
You are a member of the global GPPL Aftermarket and Product Related Services team. Through your own initiatives and good relationships you continuously contribute to the Global Product Planning results in supporting the competitiveness of the Volvo Group Trucks product offerings in China and SEA.
The position will be located in Shanghai, China
Personal qualifications：
？ Education: MSc, MBA or equivalent.
？ Experience: Suitable experience is from Aftermarket, Services, Soft Products, Product Strategy and planning, Truck sales/marketing and experience from product development and/or project management, for trucks and product related services projects. At least 10 years of experience is required.
For this position the following personality skills are of priority:
？ Business and customer focused, leadership skills including direction setting, team/-networking, result oriented, holistic view, open minded, structured, negotiation, fluent English, communicative and good presentation skills.
