Overview
Seek projects with customers which lead to new project acquisition in existing and new areas that fall within TE competencies.
Increase sales and market share of the TE sensor business through being a competent technical partner to the customers
? Fill new product pipeline and win projects to ensure future growth
? Major contributor towards TE’s organic growth strategy
? Be the Sensor application expert at customer site during design and validation phases
? Identify new applications & customers
? Provide VOC to TE internal teams
Responsibilities:
? Build customer relationships and be accepted as a competent partner by the customers
? Execute sensor growth strategy
? Acquisition of new projects at existing & new customers / applications
? Translation of the voice of customer into product requirements
? Project Management of new and existing sales and engineering projects from demand creation to production:
o Interface between the TE Engineering design team and the customer to ensure that both sides understand the requirements and have all needed information available
o Coordination and early involvement of and on-time communication with all involved TE internal departments (account manager, engineering, production, project management, marketing, etc.)
o Ensure on time customer delivery of all information, including samples and supporting design and product verification activities
? Work in close cooperation with the sales / marketing and engineering teams
? Identification of new technology or application trends in the market place
? Ability to create ideas to generate an advantage for TE at the customer
? Support customer, application and competitor market analysis
? Support MARCOM activities such as Articles, Flyers, Fairs, and Tech-Days
? Strong team player with good communication skills
? Professional presentation of the TE sensor portfolio
Qualifications:
? BS Degree in Engineering required with 7 years of relevant experience
? High degree of knowledge in sensor technology and / or electronics / mechatronics – focus on temperature, humidity and pressure technologies
? Good understanding about cost and invest structures for electronic components such as sensors
? Good understanding of industrial sensor applications and systems a plus: Major Appliances, Housewares, Power Tools, Garage Door Openers as examples
? Strong capability to turn customer needs into a business opportunities
? Ability to manage a cross functional team in a matrix organization
? Innovative thinker and problem solver. Willingness to push for better solutions
? Professional English in written and verbal form; professional presentation skills
? Willingness to travel up to 50% to key customers and other TE sites
