Main tasks:
· Develop customer/sales strategies for Interior system business with a focus on product development, marketing strategy, continuing process of improvement, determination of targets for fiscal years under consideration of/in alignment with the BU(s) targets inside Interior
· Maintain close relationships with external customers (OEMs) and internal customers (KAMs, Interior BUs) to identify customer needs and requirements
· Preparation of market data and competitor analysis
· Define new markets and new ways to reach existing markets for all BUs of Interior
· Manage external Partnerships
· Lead the pre-acquisition phase to identify new cross-BU business opportunities
· Manage all marketing support functions for the result on the (pre-acquisition projects)
· Commercial partner of the project leader and ensure cross-BU communication on all commercial relevant information
· Promote innovations to customer
Professional Experience
· At least 3-5 years experience in manufacturing industry (of which 2 are in an automotive manufacturing environment)
· Managed at least one product development program (system program preferable) through to launch including budget ownership responsibility
· Customer and Supplier relationship management
Principal accountabilities
Drive Asia innovation ideas based on society trends and market needs
Define Interior Asia innovation portfolio to fit Interior Strategy, maximizing market potential
Align Interior Asia top-down-approach with bottom-up innovation ideas from Business Units
Track budget for Asia innovation projects
Ensure generation of lifetime sales potential (actual number to be decided annually)
Support global innovation manager to set targets for Asia innovation projects and ensure target achievement in close collaboration with Asia Innovation community
Decide on quarterly financing/non-financing of Asia innovation projects based on project performance
Technology and trend scouting
Set-up and run Asia innovation network with universities, external companies and partners (e. g. start-ups)
Push selected innovations with selected OEMs: acquire pre-development collaborations/ contracts
Conduct regular project and portfolio reviews (Quarterly Innovation Meetings, Quarterly Innovation Boards, IES Asia Q-Gate Reviews) with/ for
· Asia Interior Innovation Community (BU Innovation managers, Innovation project leaders)

Support global innovation manager to lead Asia Interior Innovation Manager Council
Support to coach project managers
Support to prepare presentations for Asia top-management meetings at Chinese OEMs
