Job Descriptions:
1. Driver of the change management toward suppliers for defined categories
- Ensures proper information exchange to/from suppliers in case of change requests
- Negotiates changes with suppliers in alignment with category management
- Supports the replacement process for supplier toolings
2. Ensures flawless execution during series production
- Responsible for local data maintenance in SAP for defined categories
- Supports the escalation process for SQM and logistics topics
- Supports ramp up of new products
3. Responsible to control supplier key milestone during product development and in timing sourcing
- Involve supplier at a very early point of view
- Continuous feedback of APQP/PPAP status from SQM
- Follow up on supplier and material status
4. Interface to BU functions like engineering, target costing, program management, plant functions. Coordination between BU functions to ensure smooth launch of new project
5. Commercial responsibility for the material costs of the BU products.
- Calculate Bill-of-Material (BOM) during acquisition phase
- Develop concepts of cost efficient design with R&D to enable customer award
- Responsible to meet BOM cost before SOP
- Design-to-cost activities to achieve material cost committed during acquisition phase (PCIS)
