Job Summary:
Softlines Business Development Manager Shanghai Region will provide guidance to the Softlines sales team with respect to the China domestic market. He / She will play the key role and take the lead in communicating and developing the local clients with the nomination of global buyers thereby facilitating the achievement of sales revenue and profit margin targets.

Job Responsibilities:
1.Search for the suppliers of the global nominated buyers, promote and sell our services to them.
2.Service existing client base and address their ongoing needs.
3.Work in close coordination with various office managers in developing and servicing sales, pricing and marketing strategies
4.Drive market research projects to identify market trends and potential new opportunities, market share analysis and marketing intelligence etc.
5.Develop strong business relationships with key suppliers or trading companies in Shanghai region of the global nominated buyers.
6.Function as the speaker of the Softlines business and act as the key point of contact in Shanghai region

Job Requirements:
1.Bachelor degree or above, major in Trading and Marketing, Textile or a related discipline
2.At least 5 years of sales and / or account management experience in the Softlines (textiles, clothing, or footwear) business.
3.Proven track record in sales and / or account management in similar capacity, engaging with C-level client executives of large retailers, wholesalers, importers etc within Softlines industry.
4.Possess a wide client contact base and knowledge of sales trends of the Softlines industry.
5.General business knowledge of the Softlines industry in the China domestic market.
6.Knowledge in softlines testing, inspection, compliance and European regulations on these products
7.Knowledge in pricing strategies and structure in the area of testing, inspection and compliance.
8.Aggressive with keen interest on new business development.
9.Strong networking, negotiation, interpersonal and leadership skills.
10.Able to travel domestically & internationally.
11.Good command of English.
