Principle Accountabilities:
? Maintains the safety goals around Planning, no injure and recordable incident as first priority.
? Develops the weekly Master Production Schedule at the detailed level (disaggregate/SKU) by translating the DIBM monthly aggregate Production Plan for the MPS horizon considering all demand and requirements for production.
? Issue detailed schedule for each asset based on a final time-phased production plan; manage daily production schedules during planning horizon.
? Communicate production issues, supply changes, deviations from plan and potential resolutions to appropriate parties.
? Works closely with regional supply planner and base on stock Kanban level to initiate production plan.
? Work closely with material planner, production team to create a valid detailed production plan for every production line.
? Coordinate secondary processing of finished product (e.g., rework and repackaging).
? Lead slow-moving/obsolete material disposition process.
? Manage performance standards and analysis methods to compare actual production performance against the established standards.
? Responsible for key master production planning metrics, root cause and corrective action. Maintains accurate data to support the master scheduling process (e.g. lead times, lot sizes, product wheel, and other operating rules and conditions).
? Primary interface between manufacturing and supply chain. Works with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule along with manufacturing capabilities.
? Support the Continuous Improvement process and lean manufacturing principles by aggressively seeking ways to improve production performance, lower inventory requirements, and improve the planning/scheduling process.
Skill and Knowledge Required:
? University / College degree in a business discipline or other related Management field.
? Well organized and detail oriented.
? Excellent computer skills, to include MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel are also required
? Oral and written English communications skills are essential.
? Good with numbers and cool under pressure.
? A problem solver rather than a firefighter.
? SAP /OMP experiences a plus.
