Summary of the position
? Manage sales and overall performance of the Shanghai store ensuring the achievement of sales objectives and Company targets and maintaining the highest level of the Brand Image.
? Drive strong performance of the Store Staff.
? Function as an expert in managing people and running store with an on going knowledge of brand products and best practices to guarantee the store contribution & growth.
Duties and responsibilities
People Management and Retail Excellence
– Recruit and Select Staff
– Manage and motivate the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
– Develop and execute training and development programs in Sales force Effectiveness to increase knowledge and skills
– Ensure that all store personnel maintain the highest standard of customer service, developing customer loyalty
– Support HR Team in providing payroll information
Retail Operations:
– Ensure cash control procedures are properly followed including: bank deposits, safe funds and petty cash
– Control store expenses and maintain budgets, continually striving to reduce costs
– Ensure deliveries are properly processed in a timely manner
– Ensure facility maintenance
– Monitor the movement of all inventory and ensure that staff adheres to all Shipping/Receiving policies and procedures
– Meet inventory accuracy and shrink requirements
– Ensure staff is trained in all areas of appropriate register usage and maintenance
– Understand and properly execute all management register functions
– Support, promote and assume responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management
– Build and maintain good communication with members of corporate office and other stores.
Marketing & VM:
– Work with the PR & Marketing department on regional promotions (trunk shows, cocktail events, store-opening event) and support production merchandise for these events.
– Monitor and assist visual merchandising in accordance with central guidelines.
– Ensure retail space respects high standard at all times.
Personal Skills
– Ensure your personal image; both appearance and behavior are reflecting the sane standard of the brand.
– Conduct yourself in a positive manner, showing commitment, integrity and initiative
– Maintain and promote a flexible, enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
– Always act with entrepreneurial spirit
