职位描述：
This position will join a dynamic Design Center based in Shanghai that designs and develops medical devices for the global market. The successful candidate will work on the creation, development and qualification for medical device packaging that meets regulatory and quality requirements while collaborating closely with team members from other functions. The desired candidate will be someone who is a team player with a strong focus on meeting both internal and external customer needs. His/ her responsibilities are as follows:
1. Research, design, develop, evaluate and document packaging systems, materials, distribution systems and packaging line equipment
2. Work closely with different functions to understand and document requirements for packaging
3. Design packaging for different medical devices
4. Support qualification work for packaging of medical devices up to market launch, including the creation of packaging validation protocols and plans
5. Continue to be engaged in post launch activities like post market surveillance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

？ A Bachelor degree in science or engineering with 5 years of hands-on work experience in packaging engineering or packaging equipment within medical technology, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
？ Independent thinker with demonstrated skills working in teams or leading project teams
？ Strong interpersonal and communication skill


REQUIREMENTS

？ Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
？ Team-player with strong communication and leadership skills
？ Strong engineering skills in packaging such as:
     1. Understanding of design control (21 CFR 820.30)
     2. Working knowledge of ISO-11607
     3. Understanding of different medical packaging systems
     4. Hands-on experience in qualification work for packaging
     5. Knowledge of polymers used in packaging
     6. Knowledge on how to operate packaging machine such as Sencorp Medical Pouch Sealers, Bosch Band Sealers and Belco Tray Sealers, etc.
     7. Demonstration of medical packaging shelf life
？ Relevant experience with packaging verification and validation
？ Good understanding of risk management
？ Good understanding of sterilization process and its requirements on packaging
？ Good oral and written skills in English
？ Good understanding of regulatory environment and its requirements on packaging
