Main Job Function:

Relying on strong customer service focus and systems knowledge, the Reservation coordinator will be responsible to deliver friendly, efficient, professional and consistently exceptional customer service to our Corporate, Travel Agent and Individual callers and providing support to the Revenue & Distribution team in order to follow hotel standards of operation maximize hotel sales & revenue by implementing correct and effective reservation skills to Guoman Hotel Shanghai. Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations, understanding and strictly adhering to rules and regulations established in the Employee handbook and the hotels policies concerning fire, hygiene and health and safety.

Requirements:

Experienced with Microsoft Office business applications (such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) Good typing skill in both English and Chinese.

Good Knowledge with Hotel Reservation Services and Booking Operation System. Ensure guest requests such as reservations, amendments and cancellations are handled correctly with timely and professional manner.

Excellent command of both verbal and written languages: skills in both Mandarin and English, providing efficient enquiry/ booking services following established procedures.

Good communication skills: professional telephone communication, coordination with business partners and internal departments; excellent telephone sales and marketing technique are essential.

Good sense of job responsibility and a team player with attention to details and desire to learn. Service Oriented in daily work.
