Job Description:
—In charge of travel section of Vantage and Vantage Travel Wechat. Manage editorial and advertorial planning for travel sections and organize articles for travel sections on weekly basis
—Format client press releases, proof-read documents or edit translations with speed and accuracy;
—Obtain a thorough understanding in the operations platform and process;
—Maintain a seamless collaboration with colleagues in other functions such as sales, marketing, circulation, etc. and provide help as needed.
—Have some marketing/sales skill when talking to clients; Ensure that all clients are handled to the highest standards;
—Report to Editor-in chief and work closely with new media team
Job Requirements
—High proficiency in written English is a must;
—Fluency in spoken English and Mandarin is required;
—Possess an excellent phone manner – in English and Mandarin.
—Hold BA degree in related field (English, Communications, Journalism etc.); Minimum one years of related work experience
—Possess solid judgment and initiative;
—Solid computer skills – Windows and Microsoft Office;
—High level of self-motivation, energy and accountability;
—Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
—Strong ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure;
—Be available to work late, if needed;
—Have an understanding of website and content creation, including knowledge on press release development, blogging, social media and effective presentations;
—Feel comfortable speaking in public and interacting with clients and partners.
