Product Stewardship & Regulatory Affairs Specialist (PS & RA specialist)

Working Location: Xinzhuang Shanghai (shuttle bus provided)
Immediate Supervisor: Product Stewardship & Regulatory Affairs Manager

You must have:
At least 2 years of PS & RA working experience in chemical industry
Bachelor/Master degree with major in medical, chemistry or polymer science
Your responsibilities:
1. Participate all the activities of PS&RA in the region;
2. Participate in implementation of PS&RA in China region in order to ensure regulatory compliance in chemical management;
3. Collect PS&RA related law and regulation with regular update;
4. Evaluate impact of new law and regulation to the business in China region and advise business units upon assessment;
5. Implement PS&RA services to the region which include but not limited to chemical notification, MSDS/labels preparation, controlled chemical license/permit maintenance, etc.;
6. Maintain meaningful and solid relationship with chemical management related authorities to ensure efficient co-operation between the company and the authorities;
7. Closely work with membership organizations such as AICM representing the company to ensure that company concerns and interests are raised and considered in new law and regulation;
8. Participate in establishment of PS&RA service platform (process and guideline) for the region;
9. Maintain team information, for example ESHQ website for internal and external communication;
10. Maintain important PS&RA documents/data, for example permit, license, certificate, approval, acceptance, contract, agreement, etc;
11. Support customer inquires around regulatory compliance;
12. Provide necessary PS&RA training to employees together with PS&RA manager in the region.
You need to have:
Bachelor/Master degree with major in environmental engineering, chemistry or polymer science
At least 2 years of PS & RA working experience in chemical industry
Proficient English skills both in speaking and writing
Eager to learn, quick learner and high responsibility
Good interpersonal skills
