Job Title: Occupational Health & Medical Service Specialist职业健康和医疗服务专员

Report to: Head of ESHQ and Site Development
Working location: Caojing, SH
Purpose of the position:
- Responsible for the implementation of Occupational Health & Medical programs in compliance with all related national laws / regulations and the company standards/policies;
- Provide OHM service on the site.
Responsibilities:
- Execution of the company Occupational Health & Medical Programs to ensure total compliance with all Chinese Occupational health and medical laws /regulations, and with all the company occupational health standards/ requirements;
- Key driver of site health risk assessment implementation and follow up actions;
- Organize and manage site occupational health monitoring programs;
- Review and maintain industry hygiene setup to ensure adequacy and compliance;
- Implement site Medical Surveillance procedure for occupational hazardous positions management, review & maintain employee medical database and ensure compliance to medical confidentiality regulations;
- Implement site Fitness to Work procedure, conducting questionnaire medical assessment and further examinations etc.;
- Develop and maintain site emergency medical response plans, including train and develop site medical emergency team, lead site first aid program, covering medical emergency drill, first aid kits routine inspection and first aid training etc.;
- Maintain site first aid room routine job, including daily log, monthly statistic reporting and occupational injuries / disease reporting and tracking etc.;
- Implement site wellness promotion program topics like influenza, hepatitis B, HIV etc.;
- Implement other OH & Medical programs on the site.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Medical or Occupational/Industrial Health;2 years in Chemical and/or related industries
- Registered nurse with at least 5 years post-graduate experience in hospital;
- Previous experience in occupational health or emergency medicine would be an advantage;
- Average English skill
- Well communication skill and interpersonal skill in both Chinese and English.
- Maintain efficient co-operation relationship between the China region and the local, government party/resources in occupational health matters;
- Train and develop first aider using workshop and training;
- Coordinate cross function process Health Risk Assessment and management team on the site.
- Is accountable for providing the site with the proper direction in OH & Medical performance and safety oriented culture;
- Direct the site in such manner as to ensure compliance with local, provincial and OH & Medical related regulations.
- Assist the head of site ESHQ team to plan and manage the annual OH & Medical budget.
- Influence internal and external parties on Occupational Health & Medical;
- Ability to persuade miscellaneous parties to achieve the objectives;
- Frequently sell professional recommendation and have to convince others. (management, customers, etc.)
- Resolve problems in the site wide;
- Capability to make judgment on critical issues with supervisor’s support;
- Flexibility to manage unexpected situations.
