职位描述

Official Title: ROHACELL sales engineer
Location: Shanghai Xinzhuang (shuttle bus provided)
Dep:Sales

Purpose of the Position:
The role will concentrate on ROHACELL automotive and wind market in China.
Finalize the sales target of the ROHACELL in China as determined by ROHACELL Product manager Asia Pacific.
To work closely with the OEMs, introducing our product range, finding out their future demands and specification requirements
Maintain and develop running business, distribution/sales routes and find new prospects/development to generate sales.
Identify the market's requirement and competitor's characteristic and provide immediate feedback to manager regularly.
Work closely with the technicians in the Sandwich Technology Center Shanghai.

Principle of Accountability:
Describe'what' task is performed,'why' it is performed and 'how' it is performed
The candidate should be a Science graduate preferably with a first or second degree in Plastics Technology/Polymer Engineering/Composite material. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry Engineering would be considered.

Requirements:
Describe knowledge in practical procedures, work skills, specialized knowledge and scientific disciplines, required to perform all the requite tasks and assignments on the job
With 3 years technical sales experience, within composite industry. The applicant should preferably have a good understanding of the technical aspects of the high performance foams, their processing such as press molding, resin infusion, resin-transfer molding, pre-preg layup and cures composite sandwich structures, and target markets in demand.
Describe the requirement to plan, organize and control activities and output of a work team to achieve specific objectives; or the skill needed to integrate and coordinate the work of multiple work units within the organization or with outside parties (Degussa Internal and External Interfaces)
Active, Team player in a multi-cultural environment, dynamic, good communicator and negotiator.
Identify the decision-making latitude and effect/degree of the impact to the organization. You should answer the following questions in this part:
How much autonomy or latitude does the position has in making job related decisions?
What is the typical role of the position? Information Provider? or Decision Initiator? or Decision Reviewer? or Finalreviewer or decision maker?
The applicant should have a presence to be able to discuss commercial and technical details with the customer, being able to sense and judge on the viability of the relevant market and report regularly to the managers including business movement in the market and information from competitors.
Describe the degree of impact on organizational performance, measured by financial criteria such as Sales Volumn, net profit, project investments, or operational budget.
Develop and build up the customers in the aumotive industry and wind blades industry. Success specify ROHACELL in 2-3 customers in the automotive and wind blades market.
Measures the job's requirement to apply interpersonal skills for dealing with or influencing other persons, considering the type and frequency of both oral and written communications. Recognise the degree to which tact and diplomacy (or) the necessity to persuade, guide, sell, and/or convince others toward a course of action that is representative of the job.
Good oral and written English skills.
Describe the requirement to define and resolve problems in a rational and logic manner. Describe in terms of Procedure Guided, Policy Guided, capability to make judgment, or innovative thinking.
The candidate will be highly independent, mature, responsible and command strong presentation skills.
