职位描述：
Tasks
？ Networking: regular contact with member companies in China; in particular with the producers of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Systems
？ Sales: inform contacts on our services
？ Execution of VDMA (German Engineering Federation) China services
？ Desk Research: research industry news (incl. standards) and regularly compile English machine tool specific reports on customer industries, regional user clusters and upcoming complementary or substitutional technologies.
？ Arrange China (machine tool specific) Management Meetings in China (room booking, help find speakers, distribution of agenda & address, phone follow-up with participants to ensure their attendance)
？ Other projects as required by the German machine tool sector within VDMA and the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association VDW, both located and managed in Frankfurt (press conferences, roadshows, seminars, competitor studies etc.)
？ Visit company sites and communicate with VDMA/VDW member companies by phone/email
？ Translations incl. technical translations
？ Research of competitor information (internet, phone)
？ Networking: industry press contacts, trade fair contacts, industry association contacts in China
？ Visit machine tool oriented trade fairs and write trade fair reports/onsite booth assistance
？ Compile & Update trade fair overview of industry (excel-sheet)
？ You directly report to the Chief Representative of the VDMA Shanghai Representative Office with regard to all office and disciplinary matters.
？ You will be in close contact with German colleagues from VDMA and VDW in Frankfurt, by e-mails and personal contact. With regard to work content details and priorisation you are directly reporting to the Machine Tool and Manufacturing Systems-Unit which regularly defines a yearly working program.
Requirements
? Speak and write English and Chinese – German is a plus
? Degree in mechanical engineering or business and >3 years of work experience
? Work self-dependent, team-orientated and deliver according to deadlines
? Using Windows/PC standard software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
? Proper attire when meeting with VDMA members and other partners
? Team Player
? Work under pressure
? Organized and structured
? Work independent
? Willingness to Travel/ Flexibility & Agility
