职位描述：
The Category Procurement Manager will be a member of the Indirect Categories procurement team, with the key responsibility to partner with global and regional functional leadership to establish category specific strategies and drive the supplier identification, negotiations and contracting necessary to meet the desired requirements at the best possible economics. Key areas of focus include Human Resources, Public Affairs, Business Intelligence, Travel and Fleet, Information Technology, Research and Development. He / she will manage the relations with the established vendors across various categories.

Key responsibilities
- Establish strong working relationships with key functional stakeholders and establish procurement category strategies that support the needs of the function.
- Be responsible for collecting and sharing market intelligences in the respective areas with functional partners to proactively identify new opportunities for service or cost savings.
- Lead the execution of sourcing projects against identified opportunities and subsequent development for new suppliers.
- Lead negotiations and ensure cross functional support / approvals of agreed to commercial terms.
- Contract and own the supplier relations portfolio across all identified functions within the APAC region.
- Manage key supplier relationships and performance to contracts of assigned categories mainly within region but also in support of global requirements.
- Develop strong team work within the global Corporate Services procurement team and with the key stakeholders within the functions supported.
- Maintain and execute the best in class procurement processes, ensure proper contract administration, follow policy requirements, utilize key procurement tools, and troubleshoot issues with our tactical procurement team.
- Ensure all procedures and policies are in compliance with internal controls and support required work process improvements.

Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Finance, Business Management, Engineering or relevant area of study). Training courses in procurement/ supply chain approaches / strategies is a pre.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement
- Language skill – proficiency in English but additional languages a plus.
- Strategic thinker with ability to execute.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle diverse portfolio of projects.
- Leadership, teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to successfully engage with key internal clients.
- Proficient analytical skills.
- Plastics/chemical/material industry background is preferred.
