The primary role of the Application Engineer is to serve as the conduit for communication between Evapco and those selling or buying Evapco’s products. This role will require that the Application Engineer quickly develop an intimate knowledge of Evapco’s products, application knowledge and key points of contact in various manufacturing, accounting, shipping, quality assurance, and purchasing departments within Evapco in Asia and at the Corporate Headquarters in Taneytown, MD, USA. As necessary, the Application Engineer will assist in technical presentations during customer visits and at engineering firms. This position will generally follow the roles and responsibilities as described below:

a. Product Application

i. Considering the technical specifications from customer, site conditions and price advantage, etc., complete product selction.

ii. Selection of a variety of products for special applications.

iii. Provide solutions of various products, technologies, applications issues to customer, sales engineer and distributor

iv. Analyze and resolve product issues on the site.

b. Customer Visits

i. Visit customer, engineering companies and design institutes and provide introduction of Evapco Co. and its product and related techniques

ii. Reception to visit the factory of the customer, engineering companies and design institute and introduce Evapco Co., products and accompany customer to visit workshop, and introduce the production process, assembly and quality control etc. of Evapco products.

c. Order Check, Follow-up and Management

i. Assist Sales Engineers and Representatives with order entry.

ii. Check the technical condition and price of order

iii. Make sure to receive accurate technical details and documents form sales engineer, give clear and accurate indication of non-standard requirement to ensure accurate manufacture and timely delivery.

iv. Review and approve submittals generated in Evapco’s Order Management System (OMS).

v. Enter change orders as required by the Customer and promptly inform the Customer of any changes in time or type of product manufactured by Evapco.

vi. Follow up with Sales Engineer or Representative as necessary to facilitate the efficient order completion and shipment of products manufactured by Evapco.

vii. Quality Awareness troubleshooting and reporting as necessary.

General Requirements:

Candidates for the position of Marketing Engineer will have an enthusiasm for working closely with a diverse group of highly motivated sales professionals in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to novel situations are also desired attributes of the ideal candidates.

a.Bachelor degree or above holder from the major of HVAC, Environmental Engineering, Water Supply and Sewerage Engineering and Mechanic Engineering.

b.Good at English both in written and oral

c.More than 2 years relevant working experience is a plus, in a FDI manufacturing company will be great plus.
