Methods Manager
Department management
Daily management of methods department engineers (3 engineers)
Set up department standard and procedure and is responsible to ensure respect to procedure for new project management.
Implant customers culture and specifities to the Methods department engineers
Monitor and support communication between customer and methods department engineer to maintain good relationship.
Project execution follow-up
Coordinates, assist methods engineer decision making to guarantee customer the best solutions in terms of quality, cost, leadtimes.
Organize project follow up meeting to ensure projects milestones are respected and progress reported to project manager and customer.
Assist Methods department engineer to Collect customer technical specifications during new project kick off phase.
In cooperation with the project managers, ensure that production instructions and tools are designed to fit assembly processes in terms of profitability
Others department cross-functional cooperation
Builds relationships with other departments and ensure good cross-department cooperation and smoothen cooperation between department.
Provides support to technical problems solving workgroup.
Continuous improvement
Constantly audit production situations, identify, propose and follow improvement plans.
Provide leadership in the continuous improvement of processes(labor costs, production line and workstation organization, and standardization of tools) to enhance company profitability,
Arrange and follow manufacturing process audit to check the compliance of the defined process and his effectiveness in order to reduce quality problem, promote and standardize good practices.
Education & Background
Bachelor or higher degree
Minimum 10 years in industry
Fluent in english
