Job Description
Responsibilities:
? Collaborate with involved business units to develop the annual operating budget for Cenveo’ s international group
? Proactive financial analysis, analyzing China business and understanding the root causes of variances to budget, forecast, prior year and trends
? Various significant proactive site analysis to assist sales and operations in decision making, to include but not limited to:
o Capacity forecasting and tracking
o Customer profitability analysis
o Financial analysis for sales proposals
o Constant review of site fixed expense level and capacity versus volume breakeven levels
? Inventory analysis and support on accounts receivable with the sales group
? Prepare Regional SOP or Technical guidelines on specific topics to ensure compliance with USGAAP or Company Policies. Provide training to organization on an as needed basis.
? Conduct financial and regulatory risk assessments annually, report findings and make recommendations
? Perform regular compliance check to ensure the business operations are full compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements;
? Handle licensing related issues and outgoing correspondences with regulatory bodies
? Be corporate liaison between Tax bureau, customs, and other government entities to maintain WestRock’s positive reputation, SAFE rating, and compliance record.
? Assist in customs related requests and help in minimizing related delays. Run VAT computer and issue VAT invoices as needed
? Collaborate with tax advisory partner to minimize tax liability, adhere to transfer pricing guidelines, and keep all China licenses and permits up to date.
? Work with WestRock management to facilitate cross-department collaboration that ensures that all financial and IT solutions positively support the Company’s evolving strategy, operational delivery, and data collection needs
? Involve in ad hoc assignments and projects, such as implementing new software systems, reporting requirements, and other support to facilitate WestRock international business.
? Work with partners in South China, Hong Kong, and Shanghai to onboard, establish payment terms, and enter into the system.
? Work with various auditing agencies in each business until to facilitate annual audits.
? Processing multi-country, multicurrency, and intercompany transactions from the US and 4 Asia business units.
Qualifications
? Degree Holder or above in Finance or Accounting discipline with relevant professional qualification
? 5 to 10 years of broad finance experience, ideally including cost accounting, as well as experience gathering and evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to senior leadership
? 5 years of Compliance or legal experience (can be simultaneous with finance experience), preferably in manufacturing industry and/or trading company background;
? Highly experienced in input and output VAT, applying for refunds, and resultant impacts on profitability and budgetary forecasts
? Familiarity with Transfer pricing
? Experience with manufacturing ERP systems a big plus.
? FCPA knowledge and Compliance
? Work closely with our Thailand, China, and India teams as well as appointed agents.
? Ability to be motivated and work without direct supervision
? Highly effective in communicating and collaborating via electronic communications with global team
? Proactive with excellent leadership, interpersonal, communications and analytical skills
? Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
? Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and experience in training presentations an advantage
? Willingness for occasional travel to Thailand, USA, Hong Kong,
? One-two nights a week, conference call with key USA contacts
