Job Description

--- Fabric merchandiser

1、 Communicate daily with clients and fabric mills on order details and outstanding issues.
2、 Fabric sourcing based on client’s original or sourcing direction.
3、 Check with different fabric mills on fabric quotation.
4、 Negotiate with fabric mills on price and discount.
5、 Offer the competitive price to clients.
6、 Work closer with QC team on handling the sample yardage / bulk fabric order.
7、 Place orders to fabric mills and double check order details including style number, color, quality, delivery and price that have been confirmed.
8、 Keep all confirmed fabric prices for each of fabric items as record.
9、 Inform clients of shipment status & actual shipping/ flight information.
10、Prepare inspection file for QC inspection.
11、Prepare weekly report / status charts for weekly meeting.
12、Prepare fabric presentation for buyer’s trip.
