Job Description

--- Garment merchandiser


1、 Communicate daily with clients and garment factories on order details and outstanding issues.
2、 Prepare the presentation for buyer’s trip.
3、 Negotiate with garment factories and accessory suppliers on price and discount.
4、 Offer the competitive price to clients.
5、 Place orders to garment factories and accessory suppliers,double check order details including style number, color, quality, delivery and price that have been confirmed.
6、 Work closer with fabric team on fabric details,such as fabric handfeel;color.
7、 Send accessories and garment samples for client’s approval.
8、 Work closer with garment QA on pre-sample;shipment sample; inline and final inspection.
9、 Prepare inspection file.
10、Inform clients of shipment status & actual shipping/flight information.
11、Visit garment factory on some outstanding issues if necessary.
12、Prepare weekly report / status charts for weekly meeting.
13、Handle everything which garment assistance is following up.
