This Vice President of Finance and Strategy role is a rare opportunity for a CFO who wants to join a business that will encourage and foster career development and continuous learning. This is a business focused Finance role with a possible career option to take on a general management role as a next career step within the organization.

The VP Finance & Strategy will report directly to the President and be fully responsible for all financial planning and analysis, management reporting, investment decision making, budgeting, and long range strategic planning for a business with a multi hundred million dollar PNL. The VP Finance & Strategy will act as the primary financial business partner to the general manager and actively drive planning, commercial strategy design, case study analysis and profitability. Focused on commercial finance and strategy, this role will lead a small effective team with extensive financial reporting and accounting support from the group shared service centre . Other key areas of involvement will include process optimization, system implementation, margin analysis, and ensuring the business holds best in class reporting systems, internal controls, risk analysis, and forecasting.
