职位描述：
Job Description: Delivering successful SGS internal and external test facility and systems projects for the transportation market.

Responsibilities:
? Assist the program or project manager and participate on a team during the initial phases of client needs assessments, facility condition assessments, and the development of the owner’s project requirements.

? Interpret client’s requirements and assist the design team to develop solution packages. Requires exposure to basic building construction methods and mechanical and electrical systems.

? Apply understanding of the regions governmental requirements to participate in the design and construction processes.

? Contribute to the design with input on environmental and safety requirements local to the region. Both for the construction process as well as the operational functions of the building and systems.

? Assist the project manager to lead the team during the development of the project engineering concepts, schedule and budget.

? Assemble project budgets using SGS internal resources as well as local and international suppliers and contractors.
? Assist the project manager during the project implementation (design, construction) phases by securing and managing the right internal and external resources, partners, consultants, suppliers and contractors.
? Ongoing monitoring, control, reporting and change management of the project scope, schedule and budget.
? Provide technical oversight of the design phase with a focus on ensuring the design efforts and deliverables align with the owner’s project requirements and the design intent.
? Perform on site reviews of mechanical, electrical, controls and other systems during the construction process.
? Lead the project commissioning, validation and support phases by producing the commissioning and validation plans, training programs and long term technical support strategies.
? Perform on site commissioning, validation and support as the facilities and systems are finalized and turned over to the end users.
? Participate in, or lead the development and refinement of engineering and project management processes and tools as they are adapter to the local China market.
? Participate in and support of business development efforts primarily though client relationship management but also including new client visits, trade shows, marketing materials and proposals.
Qualifications:
? BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related relevant experience.
? Knowledge of engine, vehicle and component testing facilities, systems and equipment. Including by not limited to the following:
? Facility utility systems (Chilled water, compressed air, steam, etc.)
? Ventilation and other air systems required to support test as well as occupied areas
? Fuel, lube oil, and other fluid systems required
? Cooling water systems
? Engine exhaust and after-treatment systems
? Data acquisition and control systems
? Material handling and mounting engines and support systems
? Engine and Vehicle Test Loading Equipment (dynamometers)
? Safety system for personnel protection
? Environmental requirements to promote a sustainable site
? Knowledge of, or experience with, data acquisition and control systems is a plus.
? Experience with the process of planning, designing, delivering, and commissioning technical facilities
? Customer-oriented, self-motivated, quality focused and responsive
? Strong communication skills, leading meetings and leading teams
? Ability to travel to client & project sites frequently, including extending durations.
? Ability to travel to US, UK or other locations for training and international project support.
? Proficient in English and Mandarin language, written and spoken 举报 分享
