General summary:
Lead developing and implementing learning and development activities which covers technical, English, management and leadership, and competency. Make sure Training function is aligned with business and provide TRAINING TEAM solutions in an effective and efficient way. Manage team, providing coaching, development, and training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with the business to perform detailed and comprehensive training needs analysis across various aspects of training-technical, English, management and leadership, competency, and on-boarding.
- Develop TRAINING TEAM strategy and generate implementation plan encompassing all areas of training. Lead and coach team members to implement training plan and TRAINING TEAM programs identified.
-Facilitate management and leadership programs, e.g. Engineering Manager Development program, and Front line Manager Development program, Behavioral Interview, and other leadership related trainings.
- Lead key company-wide talent development programs, e.g. managerial succession planning, technical leadership succession planning, and rotation program, synergizing input from senior management team, HR VP, and SBU directors, running monthly status report, and coming up with follow up improvement actions.
- Build a strong TRAINING TEAM by providing coaching, feedback, and training to team members
Manage Academy effectively and make cost and benefit calculations accordingly.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- More than 10 years of working experience in TRAINING TEAM, with 4 years of team management capability
- Excellence in both oral and written English
- Excellent mastering of learning and development theory and practice
- Good ability to talk the business language and familiarity with numbers that drive an organization
- Experienced on knowledge management practice
- Excellent facilitating skills
- Excellence Mandarin Chinese is also a must
- Excellent stakeholder management capability, comfortable in communicating with Sr. management
- Proven ability to lead and manage a multi-culture team
- Excellent influencing skill in order to implement TRAINING TEAM solutions defined.
