职位名称: Chief Operating Officer

职位概述:
Senior Management Level position reporting to the President/CEO. Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the facilities. Carries responsibility for integrating the strategic plan of the organization with the operations. Provides management oversight for the development of high quality, cost effective and integrated clinical programs within the facilities. The management portfolio held by this leader is notably diverse, with corresponding broad organizational implications and complexity, characterized by substantial scope of responsibility in this respect. Expected to act in the absence of the Chief Executive Officer / President. He/she will exercise management responsibility over the facilities ensuring efficient services that are designed to meet the needs of patients, physicians, and staff. This will either be done directly, or through delegation of responsibility to the management staff.

职责:
? Accountable for the overall success of operations of the facilities; oversees and is responsible for the daily operations and activities of the facilities
? He/she will lead and oversee the development and implementation of facility operating and strategic plans. Attention is to be given to developing consistency throughout the group in regard to systems (policies and procedures), program development, quality, fiscal management, compliance and clinical management measures, physician relationships, work culture enhancement and internal communication and consensus-building.
? Acts as an administrative resource to help resolve problems with department managers concerning such items as staffing, personnel issues, and the utilization of hospital facilities, equipment and supplies.
? Responsible for overall management of JCIA activities and is Chair of the Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Committees. Reports clinical outcomes to the Medical Staff on a regular basis.
? Accepts assignments and/or chairs committees on permanent or short term basis as necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
? Participates in major policy and decision-making discussions and makes recommendations regarding resource allocation and future direction and control of the facility.
? Prepares and presents periodic reports regarding professional services, quality assurance, or other relevant topic as needed by the organization.
? Maintains appropriate relationships external to the hospital to facilitate the role of liaison with the public.
? Develops and fosters effective collaboration between clinical departments, divisions, medical staff leadership, and other affiliated services (inside and outside of the hospital) to ensure an integrated approach to providing services, and fulfilling the hospital's goals and objectives.

任职条件:
?Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or preferably Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration or related field. This person ideally has 10 years of progressively more responsible managerial experience, with at least five years of high-level administration in a healthcare organization, necessary in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the administrative aspects of the health care field and to be able to effectively direct the operations of the facility.
