Responsibilities

· Collaborate with Marketing & R&D Leaders on Project execution & management of product lines in Asia.

· Drive product competitiveness through environment analysis, competitors review, product innovation & re-engineering.

· Develop & Implement cost reduction initiatives.

· Support implementation of LEAN initiative at Processors and Suppliers.

· Manage the relationships with suppliers to ensure full alignment of technologies and products requirements.

· Evaluating current and potential suppliers and ensuring continuous improvement in Cost structure & Quality level.

· Manage all change control and ensure suppliers adhere to operating procedures, product specifications & work instructions.

Requirements

· Possess a University Degree in Engineering (Non-Woven, Biomedical, Chemical, or Material Science )

· 6-8 years relevant experience in Product or Design Engineering in the non-woven product

· Candidate must have non-woven material or products and medical devices knowledge.

· Familiarity with non-woven material, marker design ,sewing ,ultrasonic sealing , heat sealing process .

· Familiarity with material, product qualification and process validation.

· Results-driven and take initiative to develop effective solutions to supply chain with active & dynamic mindset.

· Positive attitude, willing to stress him/herself to achieve more

· Able to work with various cultures and travel within Asia in short notice.

· Sound interpersonal skills, Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

About Cardinal Health Medical Segment Shanghai Office

Cardinal Health Medical Segment Shanghai Office was established in 2003 and managed by Singapore office. In Feb. 2012, it changed to WOFE as Cardinal Medical Equipment Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

We have two main businesses in China: global sourcing and convertors manufacturing. Global sourcing team cooperates with U.S. sourcing team to search for more resources in Asia in medical-surgical products to ambulatory care centers, physician offices, clinical laboratories and hospitals. Covertors manufacturing team focus on high-volume replenishable products such as gloves, gowns, surgical drapes, scrubs and fluid management products from suppliers in China.
