The Position
DSM Nutritional Products is recognized as the leading company in the global feed additive market and has proven its capability to innovate and develop opportunities for new and existing products. Strong drive for product innovation and the ability to reduce costs and increase margins in feed and meat production, while reducing the environmental impact of animal production under increasingly stringent environmental legislation.
China has the world’s largest animal husbandry and second largest feed industry. ANH is # 1 in vitamins both in straight and concentrates in China, and becoming the leader in premix market.
In general, ANH China is serving two kinds of customers – feed mills and farms. Dealing with feed mills is more about a B2B business that DSM/DNP are traditionally good at globally with their vitamins and other feed additives. While, due to the fragmented customer base and decision making process, dealing with farms is more like a B2C business that ANH China is exploring the successful business model with its premix and technical services.
Since both “B2B” and “B2C” or called as “B2F” (Business-to-Farm) by ANH China business are important to ANH China, and the needs from both markets are substantially different, to better serve all of them, in November 2013, the sales and marketing team of ANH China has been restructured to KA (focus on feed mills) and B2F.
The regional marketing team – B2F mainly provides service to B2F business, meanwhile takes responsibility for brand promotion and general marketing activities for both B2B and B2F business.
The regional product marketing activities will then be applied to the local markets across all product categories/portfolios and business units to satisfy all our customer’s needs.
Furthermore, this position will also be the interface between regional marketing team with other organizations and global team, and between ANH with other DSM business groups.
Responsible for promoting DSM corporate brand, ANH products’ & concepts’ brands to animal health and nutrition field in China, designing and conducting marketing activities for ANH China with a focus on B2B businesses.
Reports to: Marketing Executive, ANH China
Key Responsibility
? Develop marketing plan to promote DSM corporate and ANH brands, and ANH products & concepts to feed & husbandry industry in China.
? Organize external promotion activities, including trade shows, technical seminars, industry conferences, launch events, products roadshows, product campaigns, advertisement for industrial magazines & digital media.
? Be a focal point of ANH China to connect with relevant key trade media and journals in China.
? Coordinate, create, produce and distribute marketing & communications tools, such as product brochures, company magazine, website, giveaways, products video, etc.
? Develop e-marketing platform for internal sales & marketing team and distributors, such as E-learning & E-test platform, and online products video lessons; coordinate the translation and launch the Chinese version of iPad ANH APP.
? Coordinate the marketing activities across all product categories, to ensure rational resource allocation and synergy.
? Develop the market information platform, timely collect and deliver feed and husbandry industry information to AHN team, and distributors; provide monthly sales analysis to each category manager.
? Be a focal point for ANH China’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibilities) activities, such as university scholarship, DSM “Hope Kitchen” to aid students in underdeveloped areas, sponsorship to preschool education in west China, and charity events.
? Collaborate with technical team, to formulate and implement marketing and communications plans to ensure key results are met.
? Monitor the progress of global assignments of regional marketing team, make sure the quality and deadline are met.
? Fully take SHE duties and responsibilities to ensure SHE requirements, objectives are well communicated and followed and achieved.
? Social responsibility projects:

Preferred Profile
Educational level:
? Bachelor degree or above in Animal Nutrition preferred
Knowledge and experience:
? Over 2 years working experience in marketing communications role, preferred in multinational companies
? Fluent in local language and in English
? Good command of English both in written / oral
? Excellent Microsoft Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Required level of experiences
? Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing communications in Animal Nutrition related industry
? Excellent communication / coordination skills
? Strong customer orientation
? Innovative and out-of-the-box thinking, fast learner
? Conceptual and goal oriented
