职位描述

1.0 REPORTS TO报告给: Quality Assurance Manager

2.0 OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

Owner for Rack/PDU Product, response for overall technical/Quality issues from NPI, manufacturing, and marketing. final approver for any product Engineering change. Resolving any issues raised by service engineer from field.


3.0 MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES主要职责及责任: Include the following:

3.1 Participate in the investigation and resolution of issues that negatively affect the quality, performance, and reliability of Rack/PDU product in a manufacturing environment from a mechanical and electrical standpoint.

3.2 Responsible to support manufacturing and the field through corrective action to improve product design and/or reduce product and production costs.

3.3 Review factory DPU for better tracking production quality

3.4 Facing customer for field issues, sum the defects in fields, and complete/review the final quality report for field defects

3.5 Training service engineer to deal with the technical issues happened in Customer side

3.6 Final approver for any engineering change requested by other funtion


4.0 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

4.1 Modify product design to improving quality by working with Design engineer

4.2 Train factory person for product debug

4.3 Improve the test method by existing test equipments

4.4 Other duties as assigned.


5.0 REQUIREMENTS:

5.1 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

5.2 5+ years experience in design and support of Electric/Electronic product or related fields, or an Associate’s degree in Technology/Applied Science and at least 1 to 2 years

5.3 2+ years service working experience in Electric Power Product Manufacturer.

5.4 Strongly Understanding of Electrical/Electronic Power & Power Switch product principles.

5.5 Strongly knowledge on Electric/Electronic Components

5.6 Expert using FMEA to resolving product issue; Strong 7-step skills

5.7 Cp/CPK 6Sigma tools application on electronic / electrical products

5.8 Strongly ability on electric/electronic schemetic analysis

5.9 Familiar with Electrical/Electronic Power & Power Switch product test spec

5.10 Strongly knowledge of Power product quality concept

5.11 Familiar with regulator compliance approval requirement for power product

5.12 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5.13 Very good communication skills

5.14 Proven ability to work under minimal supervision.


6.0 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 2 – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

6.1 Electric/Electronic product design

6.2 Programming experience using LabVIEW software.

6.3 Experience in design of electronic / electrical circuitry.

6.4 Program management skills

6.5 Electrician cetification

6.6 Domestic and International Travel as required


7.0 OTHER KEY CONSIDERATIONS:

7.1 Good communication and technical writing ability in English.

7.2 Candidate must be able to interact well with customers
