Key responsibilities:
1. Responsibility for positioning, influencing and securing corporate or institutional sales business on short, medium and long term (3 years). The agreements reached by the FSM will then be delivered by the dealer network.
2. The Fleet Sales Manager represents direct contact with the dealer, financing company and/or the end-user that chooses Volvo and CFMA Volvo products in China.
3. Monitoring of the fleet sales performance of the dealers, where fleet sales ability, standards and personnel are defined.
4. Support dealers with fleet sales activities and fleet sales development.
5. Responsibility for planning and implementing a competitive product portfolio, pricing and positioning suitable for corporate customers.
6. Responsibility for developing and implementing fleet sales dealer terms and conditions according to the needs of business development.
7. Responsibility for monitoring and reporting the market development and competitive actions in corporate sales.
8. Develop and maintain regular contact/business relationship with Volvo International Major Accounts (IMA), government bodies and local corporate customers.
9. Ensure that all leads are actively and effectively followed up. Respond to requests from customers, dealers and prospects to provide direct manufacturer liaison, if necessary.
10. Regularly review effectiveness of customer offers and corporate contracts/agreements.
11. Ensure that sales offer is matched to sales volume opportunities at the most effective terms.
12. Regularly review and refine business processes to reduce costs, save time and improve quality.
13. Make effective use of events and hospitality programmes.
Qualification:
1. Minimum 5 years of account management.
2. Experience in motor vehicle dealer retail and ideally corporate sales operations, preferably with a premium European brand.
3. Knowledge of market and service structure in the Chinese automotive environment.
4. Experience working in different cultures, in an international business environment.
5. Understanding of marketing concepts and application in the corporate sales environment.
6. Communication skills – active listening, writing, negotiation, influencing and presentation sills – one on one and within a group situation.
7. Strong customer focus and selling technique.
8. People management skills, ability to act with cultural sensitivity and to achieve results dealing with people from a variety of different cultures.
9. High level of organization skills and ability to work independently.
10. Understanding of Volvo brand core values.
11. Initiative taking and pro-activeness.
12. Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
13. Driving license.
14. Understanding of purchasing policies.
15. Understanding and active usage of Whole Life Cost Management.
16. Fluent written and spoken abilities in both Chinese and English
