职位描述：
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Other duties may be assigned:
1. Actively engage for key supplier selection and qualification activities in Asia.
2. Assess and develop Asia component supply base and Asia contract manufacturers
3. Perform direct and indirect supplier evaluation and selection activities, including supplier capability assessments and supplier quality systems/manufacturing process audits.
4. Manage supplier quality related risks; develop and implement supplier risk mitigation strategies when appropriate
5. Execute contracts and Quality Plans with Suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met
6. Leverage internal resource to lead part qualification activity together with engineering and sourcing
7. Support early technology selections and industrialization of new technology at suppliers
8. Develop, implement, and monitor early supplier quality development initiatives, including supplier performance management, supplier certification, process improvements, cost reduction, supplier forums and Six Sigma/Lean integration.
9. Lead supplier new part qualification activities, including development of capability studies, control plans, first article inspections, PFMEAs, etc. Review and approve engineering design changes and supplier change requests to determine part re-qualification needs.
10. Work with design engineering to determine receiving inspection requirements of purchased components and finished product.
11. Collaborates with supplier representatives in quality systems, process controls methods, problem solving and statistical tools to improve process performance.
12. Perform periodic trending and review of supplier-related quality data. Institute quality tools and programs that focus on identification and prevention of quality defects. Participate in root cause / failure analysis of supplier-caused non-conforming product, and ensure product quality concerns are adequately addressed by the supplier
13. Train and coach supplier for quality related knowledge and process
14. Work closely with Global & Regional SQEs from all Hill-Rom facilities to ensure timely communication and problem solving related to Asia suppliers
15. Promote & ensure optimal & feasible design for product with supplier process readiness, develop supplier
DFM analysis resource and capability
16. Monitors and drives corrective action and continuous improvement activities that directly impact
performance for assigned suppliers
17. Supplier Change Notification management for supplier quality related activities
18. Drive 1st tier supplier manage sub-tier supplier
19. Supplier quality relationship management
20. Conducts and/or leads problems solving of purchased material performance in Hill-Rom factory using
problem solving tools and documentation, routinely reports progress and results impact
21. Lead SBR (supplier business review) quality section for key Asia suppliers, coordinate Hill-Rom regional
feedback and address supplier quality concerns
22. Initiate, drive and coordinate implementation of organizational structure that improves product quality
performance
23. Execute/Maintain in the Quality Systems compliance
24. Willingness and flexibility for business travel both domestically and abroad, when required 举报 分享
