Key Responsibilities:
Strategically leveraging all of football assets to build business in a seamless & teamwork manner with Brand Comm., Merchandising, Retail Marketing & Regional teams
Maximizing support & resources from Global Football Sports Marketing to drive sales & brand equity growth via activating Global A clubs & top 5 players aggressively
Strengthening the partnerships with CFA, local clubs/FAs & athletes/coaches to a) make company the preferred brand by football athletes, & b) scout & sign the next Chinese star player(s) who will play in top European leagues
Innovating grassroots platforms to build the brand as the most authentic yet cool brand among target groups
Accountabilities:
Planning
Develop & execute sports marketing strategy for football:
Global assets leverage & activation
Grassroots & events
CFA & other local stakeholders’ management
Work with Brand Comm., Merchandising & Regional teams to develop annual football business plan to build sales & brand equity growth
Manage direct reports to develop product and service plan that provides best services to assets
Management
Work with other teams & manage direct reports to deploy annual football business plans to achieve annual targets
Develop & report evaluation of business plans to strive for continuous improvement
Responsible for the overall management of the CFA & other local FAs
Manage other local football stakeholders (clubs, coaches, agents, consultants & athletes) to build scouting, brand presence & other activation supports
Build reputation in the sports industry as the brand that provides the best products & services
Manage direct reports & agencies to deploy football grassroots programs that build brand preference & loyalty among key target groups, esp. the next generation youths
Financial
Manage sports marketing budget effectively to execute sports marketing strategy
Drive maximum ROI & efficiency
Track investment progress & provide timely forecast to Sports Marketing Director & Finance
Manage self & team T&E within given budget
Systems and Processes
Negotiate and execute contracts, strategic alliances, events, product procurement, delivery, service to business partners & assets
Lead team member to manage product order & inventory effectively to ensure compliance & efficiency
Ensure the management of & services to our assets is best-in-class in the industry, including on-time delivery of our products, product satisfaction/training & partnership building
People Management
Develop team structure & capability that helps achieve business objectives
Grow direct report to develop bench for organization growth & development
Set, manage & evaluate performance of direct report annually to build business & people together. Ensure the company’s HR & performance management processes are followed, including goal setting, role &responsibility clarification, competency development, performance review & feedback
Actively promote & walk the talk of company “6-Principles”
Training
Deploy company & external training program to enhance direct reports’ motivation & capability

Professional background / Experience:
Strong knowledge and connection in sports marketing industry in China, esp. in football
Above 10 years working experience with at least 5-year experience in sports marketing
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing or business management
IT skills:
PowerPoint -excellent
Outlook – basic
Word – advanced
Excel – advanced
Language skills:
Fluent in English and Mandarin(written and spoken)
Mandarin as native language is a must
