Accounting/ Finance/ Administration Intern

GENERAL JOB PURPOSE:
You are a top student in Chinese Accounting or Finance with a good analytical mindset who is looking for an opportunity to broaden his/her horizon and gain some practical experience in a dynamic and challenging working environment? ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING TASKS:
1. Support the Commercial- and General Manager in operative accounting tasks and tax-related matters
2. Support the operative bank business (e.g. collect guarantees and other documents and create reviews of the company’s treasury and cash flow)
3. Translation of accounting documents from Chinese to English for our headquarter in Germany
4. Support financial department with the management of accounts receivables, i.e. check contract terms and print VAT invoices based on input from related internal parties

ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS:
5. Answering incoming telephone calls
6. Greeting guests as they enter the office
7. Assisting employees with shipping packages
8. Book travel arrangements
9. Provide general support to visitors
10. Order office supplies
11. Provide administrative support as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax or similar field of specialization
2. Master’s study in related field ongoing is a plus
3. Previous experience in accounting
4. Good understanding of Chinese tax system
5. Familiar with cash / bank management
6. Understanding of commercial contracts

8. ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS: MINIMUM REQUIREMENT CET6
9. FLUENT IN MANDARIN
10. HIGH PROFICIENCY IN MS OFFICE, ESPECIALLY EXCEL AND WORD

12. STRONG WILL AND PERSISTENCE
13. ABLE TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE
14. GERMAN SPEAKING IS A PLUS
