Key responsibilities:

Summary of the Role
Connected car is one of the main focus areas at Volvo Cars and aim at delivering the next generation of connected vehicles and services. Volvo Cars Connected Car IT contains concept, development, and establishment of new services and maintenance of existing services. It has a high level of complexity including coordination with other IT services and business functions such as Research & Development. It also contains the uniqueness of VCC Product Development delivery where IT is part of the solution. In this area we are in need of a senior Business Analyst to focus on concept, i.e. early development phases of car programs and advanced engineering.


Main responsibilities
? Take part in and support global team to define Advanced Engineering projects, in particular Autonomous Drive
? Support global team to define solutions in concept phase and advanced engineering for that aligns with global strategy
? Understand global program structure, launch plan/timing, and ownership.
? Be able to work with multiple internal/external teams to govern the delivery of A.D. IT project in China as part of global A.D. IT program.
? Research/learn legal knowledge about permits needed locally China for A.D. and related services, synthesize information into reports for leadership and working team.
? Expert in demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of information IT security technologies, embedded security and platforms
? Expert with a high level of analytical ability where problems are typically unusual and difficult - gather and interpret complex qualitative or quantitative data
? Accountable for understanding and communicating IT security policies, requirements, controls and standards, can answer front line questions from program teams, Cybersecurity, IT, engineering and electrical teams
? Coordinates input/requirements from internal/external to better understand business needs and/or perceptions
? Coordinate with validation efforts to ensure on-time execution
? Domestic and global travel, as required.
