职位描述：
Application Development & Technical Service
  Translate customer requirements into product specifications and acquire technical approvals through dedicated cooperation with customers.
  Assess and initiate new product and application development requests.
  Take proactive steps to retain critical technical expertise.
  Coach R&D colleagues in idea generation, application development, and product development activities.
  Provide technical service to customers in your area of responsibility.

Project management
  Plan, design and implement technically complex global application development and customer support programs.
  Coordinate project activities between different functional groups, such as product development, M&S, AD/TS colleagues, R&D, testing labs, product safety and intellectual property.
  Prioritize and manage program activities including conceptual design, prototyping, testing and validation at the customers.

Project acquisition
  Identify new business opportunities including new applications, product improvements and/or process improvements.
  Play a key technical advisory role for colleagues in Marketing and Sales.
  Assess the technical viability of new programs.
  Share financial responsibility with Sales & Marketing for selected accounts; joint account responsibility, justify R&D spending, prevent putting a lot of effort on projects that are non-strategic or have a very low probability of success.

Knowledge management
  Leverage technical information in the global R&D and M&S community through reporting (visit reports, project plans, monthly highlights, progress reports and brochures) and training.
  Provide technical updates and advice colleagues in new application development programs. Inspire colleagues on your findings.
  Take ownership for feeding and maintaining parts of the Knowledge Base.
  Multiply successful product-application-technology combinations to other customers and/or segments.

Representation & Network
  Represent Teknor Apex in external, international settings, for example by active participation and submitting technical papers at conferences
  Stay abreast of technical developments and underline global (technical) leadership position.
   Maintain extensive network of expertise relevant in area of responsibility.
Knowledge and educational level
   Bachelor’s degree or higher educational level in polymer science, chemical technology, polymer engineering or mechanical engineering.
  Strong knowledge of injection moulding and/or extrusion technologies as well as market demands in the thermoplastic elastomers industry.
  Strong knowledge of polymer properties, polymer processing, troubleshooting and polymer testing, especially thermoplastic elastomers.
  Extensive knowledge of part design, tool design and design tools (e.g. Moldflow, AutoCad, DOE and FEA).

Required level of experiences
  At least 10 years’ experience in the plastic industry with assignments in technical service and application development. In depth TPE/TPV knowledge.
  Proven record of accomplishments in innovation and application development.
  Proven social skills (English is a must), allowing you to build and maintain internal and external relations.
  Able to inspire your colleagues on your findings, and have shown the drive to produce results on time.
  Proven capability to work in stressful and complex situations.
  Creative, innovative, out-of-the-box thinker and implementer with hands-on experience in program management.
  Proven to be self-propelling and able to set priorities.
  Proven skills to execute complex programs.
