ESSENTIAL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develops, applies and maintains supplier quality systems and quality processes.

-Co-leads the supplier selection and qualification process with sourcing engineers.

-Works closely with sourcing engineers to execute the part approval procedure.

-Conducts periodic quality system and process audit to current suppliers and follows up their

improvement actions.

- Explains quality requirements to suppliers and provides necessary trainings to suppliers.

- Facilitates efficient inspection processes for suppliers to ensure good correlation between suppliers and customers.

- Establishes appropriate supplier quality metrics and drives continuous improvements.

-Reviews quality issues and develops action plans with the supply base.

-Other duties may also be assigned as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering

2. Minimum 4 years of supplier quality management experience with broad knowledge in sheet metal fabrication, casting and machining parts.

3. Familiar with ISO 9000 or TS 16949 standards, skilled at supplier audits.

4. Experience with parts approval process.

5. Corrective action management for issues arising from audits and/or customer complaints.

6. Good English communication skills.

7. Experience with quality tools like PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA is a plus.
