Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide manufacturing engineering support for existing and new product lines from design through production. Review new or revised designs for form, fit and function ensuring manufacturing feasibility and quality based on DFM & DFA principles. Serves as a member of product design teams and facilitates design and process risk assessment such as FMEA's.
2. Support assembly and test procedures, work flow diagrams, shop layout to meet production forecasts. Establish manufacturing time standards for manpower and capacity planning. Conduct studies to evaluate available capacity and equipment against the present and future manufacturing needs.
3. Set up production lines/work cells. Develop and procure necessary tooling, jigs and fixtures, detailed SOP, assembly process manual to support the manufacturing process and design specifications.
4. Resolve manufacturing problems, clarify, improve, and streamline processes to create a more efficient and effective manufacturing environment. Identify problem, its root cause, short-term fix, long-term corrective action and implementatio n plan.
5. Assists in capital equipment planning, budgeting, justification and implementation.
6. Maintain and adhere to established procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance to ISO 9000 and other company standards.

Requirements:
1. B.S. in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
2. should be a strong team player with flexibility to adapt to organizational needs and priorities.
3. must be hands-on, intuitive and solution-oriented with good communication skills.
4. Computer literacy and proficiency in using Windows based applications such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
5. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pro-Engineer CAD environment.
6. Working knowledge and hands-on experience working with Pro-Engineer, Pro-Process and AutoCAD.
7. Experience in common machining, fabrication and finishing processes.
