Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the overall success of testing in all systems of Global Equity & Market Data.
2 .Defines scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing, and establishes the purpose and deliverables of the test effort.
3. Provides resource planning, management and resolution of issues that hinder the test effort.
4. Covers all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing and final User Acceptance Testing.
5. Defines and ensures different software development process has an appropriate level of testing.
6. Ensures that all items follow the software development process and are entered and tracked through the process.
7. Works collaboratively with development during all stages of projects to provide in process testing results.
8. Coordinates groups of business personnel who test, evaluate and validate new functions and applications, and identify issues in software or services.
9. Records and reports testing metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts, sends out regular testing report.
10.Obtains final signoff for production releases.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor degree or above, major in Computer Technology and Science or related field

Experience:

8+ years software test experience, 4+ years management on testing team

Skills:

1.Good at English writing & reading.
2.Demonstrated ability to work well with business analysts, programmers and end users in a cross functional team.
3.Experienced user of SQL scripts.
4.Experience in creating scripts for automating processes.
5.Thorough knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle including requirements definition, initial application design, testing, final implementation and operations.
6.Familiar with NT and UNIX environments.
