Our client has a long tradition in precision engineering within retail, lean manufacturing, aotomotive logistics industries, offer logistics and engineering solutions that bring benefit to customers all over the world. Our client needs a Assistant Sales Manager to support the Sales Manager, in the developing and managing new sales accounts for partners' products, to increase monthly annual sales in the China territory. She/He will report to the Sales Manager of Suzhou office.

Job Description:

Abstract: The key task of the Assistant Sales Manager is to sell Lean Logistics and Visual Management Solutions in China Market, independently and together with Sales Manager, introduce the Partner Products and Service to new clients and actively approach and manage new sales.

1. The Assistant Sales Manager (Lean) will be mainly responsible for the sales of the Client’s Lean Logistics and Visual Management solutions, through company visits and telephone sales.
2. The Assistant Sales Manager will also be responsible for supporting the sales activities of the Business unit Lean in the Asia and India. Asia includes: China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
3. The Assistant Sales Manager will be an advisor/consultant to clients, who have needs in automotive lean segment, within the segments of client’s Lean Logistics and Visual Management solutions.
4. The Assistant Sales Manager will support the Sales Manager for the further development of the sales to the existing customers and the key account management of these accounts.
5. This professional will be working mainly through telephone direct sales, through customer visits, influencing prospects to become long term clients,
6. The Assistant Sales Manager will find new relevant prospects and generate quality leads independently and together with the Sales Manager.
7. The Assistant Sales Manager will ensure client satisfaction, through pre-sales research, providing relevant solutions and pro-active after-sales relationship management.
8. The Assistant Sales Manager will develop incremental business within each client account, expanding the client base, through demonstration of the value of Lean Logistics and Visual Management solutions.
9. The person should be able to handle and manage several layers of the customer organization:
a. Management: Explain the vision and sell the financial benefits/profitability
b. Logistics engineers: Describe and explain process benefits, show and explain how the solution physically works, explain the financial benefits
c. Operators: Show and explain how the solution physically works

Requirement:
1. Personal characteristics should be as follows:
a. Very enthusiastic and energetic person.
b. Team Player.
c. “Self-starter” - comfortable with telephone sales.
d. Drive for results,
e. Service-minded – earning strong commitment from the customers
2. The Assistant Sales Manager should meet following requirements:
a. Should have 3-5 years of relevant technical sales experience.
b. Good english language knowledge, (speaking, writing, comprehension)
c. International & Can-Do mind set
3. The Assistant Sales Manager will be an entrepreneurial, self-managing contributor.
