Essential Functions
1. Provides strategic product portfolio strategy and go-to-market strategy to drive retail business and enhance brand superiority image
2. Analyze shopper insight and develop shopper communication strategies that are motivating to the Chinese breastfeeding mothers. Lead the execution of these communication strategies primarily through online marketing, social media, public relations and in-store merchandising.
3. Understand retail customer insight and drive key customer in-store campaign/event.
4. Develop counter/booth/shelf/in-store merchandising solutions, monitor the designs and implementation and quality that drive customer purchase in 5 breast feeding serials respectively
5. Design and implement consumer promotion and analyze ROI and evaluation
6. Design and execute the counselling training and incentive plan for in-store promoter girl to improve the store productivity.
7. Cross-function competent leadership and collaboration with family product managers, digital, EC marketing, sales teams and KA manager, and supporting function teams to ensure marketing activity smooth execution and achieve business result.
8. Participate in sales and marketing programs and provide market feedback regarding trends, product development and quality. This includes market research studies and competitor’s analysis to ensure that Medela maintains the premium brand position in China
Job Requirements and Qualifications
1. University degree
2. 6+ years’ marketing or sales experience in FMCG or consumer products, prefer in mother & baby care industry or mom & baby store is preferred
3. Mom with breast feeding experience is preferred.
4. Well-developed strategic planning, analytical and organizational skills
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
7. The ability to work within an assigned budget for sales and expenses
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
9. Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public
10. Ability to travel frequently within China and occasionally abroad
11. Excellent command of English (both spoken and written) is a must
