JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create demand for ERICO products in the Power Generation market segment:
- Through pro-active promotion with end-users, Power Design Institutes, Consultants, Power generation companies, construction companies, and specifying engineers.
- Influence end-user specifications to provide approval for ERICO Grounding, Surge Protection and Lightning Protection, emphasizing technical advantages over competitor products.
- Meets with product specifiers, demonstrates value provided by products, and provides information required to support incorporation of products in projects and markets that support end use.
- Identifies business opportunity for ERICO products in the Power Generation market segment in China.
- Recommends, establishes and manages distributors/sales agents.
- Establish and built teamwork approach within his respective department.
- Provides first-line product applications support including liaison with ERICO product management and applications engineering staff.
- Provides feedback on shifts in customer demands and opportunities for new products.
- Develops and executes Sales Plans consistent with market strategy for increasing demand.
- Adhere to Pentair values.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
- Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration with Marketing Focus
- Eight to Ten years of sales experience in Power Generation infrastructure projects, & or sales of products to the Power Generation facilities & projects.
- Very good contacts and network within the Power Generation industry in China.
- Strong relationship with Power Design institutes and end users in the Power Generation and Utilities in China.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales target consistently for 5 years. Minimum annual sales value of at least 1,000,000 USD each year.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Commitment to the PENTAIR Code of Ethics.
- Knowledge of the application of grounding, surge protection and lightning protection products and systems or the ability to quickly acquire that knowledge.
- Excellent communications skills with ability to communicate confidently with both technically trained and non-technical customers.
- Professional presentation skills required to present ERICO values, products and solutions at various organizational levels.
- Ability to present to customers in an effective manner the product differentiation offered by ERICO.
- Ability to negotiate and guide potential customers toward an ERICO-provided solution.
- High level of organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain existing customers.
- Demonstrated perseverance to follow up on open leads and convert these into sales.
- Demonstrated achievement in business development and/or product management within relevant industry sectors.
- Computer literacy.
- Commercial and contract knowledge.
