职位描述：
We are currently seeking an experienced Consulting Engineer to join our team.

The Consulting Engineer is a key contributor to the design of product components which typically define a major subset of a product, and is responsible for the functionality and meeting the requirements completely. At this level, the Consulting Engineer has a complete understanding of the technologies needed to develop and debug issues for the product/components and may be asked to evaluate tools and other technologies related to the product/component. The Consulting Engineer provides clear instruction for knowledge transfers and may coordinate development activities of other team members. Coordinates defect resolutions and supports customers directly if needed. The Consulting Engineer leverages technology to develop and validate the product component at an expert level, manages defect resolutions and coordinates code development with other engineers if required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Produces estimates and documented solutions for business and technical problems
2. Produces architectural and design documentation including test approach
3. Creates proof of concept prototypes
4. Communicates solutions to developers and ensures high-quality implementation
5. Performs code reviews and test plans
6. Collaborates with QA to ensure completeness of test plans

The successful candidate will be well qualified in the following areas.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, or a related discipline, and 10 or more years of related full-time experience.
2. Five or more years of full-time experience in Java EE software development (including Java, JSP, JavaScript, XML, HTML, as well as related frameworks and design patterns), and with Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
3. Five or more years of Oracle PL/SQL experience including SQL and database object creation and maintenance as well as general knowledge of other DBMS systems.
4. Experience with Source Control Systems, IDE’s (IDEA, Eclipse)
5. Experience creating product architecture that is maintainable and extensible for the future along with the technical supporting documentation.
6. Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Preferred/Additional Qualification：

1. Insurance industry experience.
2. Experience with large, complex databases (1,000+ tables).
3. Web Services experience including SOAP and RESTful services
4. Experience with HTML5, JAX-RS, JAXB, JPA, and Spring open source framework
5. Experience with Angular/JS, JQuery, jQWidgets or other JavaScript-centric application development
6. Experience with WebLogic
7. Formal design/UML/Rational Rose
8. Familiar with agile methodologies (RUP, Scrum, etc.)
