PURPOSE:
Plan drive and execute activity to increase product penetration and improve margins within the state/ local Market, and achieve sales, and margin targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? To achieve or better Sales Budgets and Gross Margin Budgets for relevant Sales Area(s), being accountable for same.
? To identify, qualify and sell to relevant customers and prospects, focusing on product/market applications consistent with Company guidelines.
? To develop and maintain close contact with relevant customer companies, ensure good business relationships between both parties, and promote a positive image of the Company.
? To recommend and implement selling tactics that will ensure that Company supply share is maintained and improved at relevant customers.
? To ensure the Company has the opportunity to quote for all relevant new packaging requirements, and for existing requirements where a real possibility exists for a change in supply status, where these requirements are within Company capabilities and consistent with sales guidelines.
? To ensure supply proposals or quotations are presented to customers and prospects in an appropriately creative and professional manner and consistent with Company sales guidelines.
? To maintain an awareness of movements and developments within all industries (and competitors) associated with our Company’s products.
? To liaise with customer, Production and Marketing personnel to ensure smooth supply continuity, negotiating best compromise where necessary.
? Create Account Plans and conduct regular reviews against objectives for strategic customers agreed with the sales manager South China.
? Ensure all transactions and dealings on behalf of Detpak are made in accordance with all Company policies and procedures including Cash on Delivery (CODs), Customer Stock Holding and Pricing Guidelines (Price List, Price Deviation and Print Rate Supplements).
? Timely and accurate completion of all reporting as requested by the sales manager South China.
RELATIONSHIPS AND AUTHORITY:
? Reports to the Regional Sales Manager-North and East China Disposables
? Offer products for sale on prices and terms (inc. delivery) as outlined by or agreed with the Regional Sales Manager-North and East China Disposables.
? Team oriented relationship within, Foster sense of teamwork within the state team.
? Maintain effective and professional relationships with the sales operations function.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
? Undergraduate college, 3-5 years working experience on sales, relevant professional qualifications are preferred.
? Strong personal accountability matched with ability to integrate within team focused environment.
? Displays integrity, leads by example and sets the consistently high standards for others to emulate.
? Demonstrates the edge required to make the tough yes and no decisions.
? Proactive in approach, maintains own energy, setting the standard for others.
? Has the ability to energize others around common goals.
? Consistently executes and follows through to deliver on the Detpak promise.
? Has passion for the business as a whole.
? Makes the tough decisions which are consistent with Detpak’s business objectives, demonstrating the courage to back own judgment.
