职位描述：
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Serves as a member or team leader of R & D project teams as assigned. Skilled in all areas of project management including Gantt schedule development and tracking, coordination of all personnel on team, assignment of action steps required, production of meeting minutes, tracking of all costs, and maintenance of project records.
? Develops new products as directed by the R & D Committee/ Engineering Head. Modifies existing product to improve design, performance, assembly, or cost. Investigates research and development of new ideas and presents these ideas to appropriate personnel when successful.
? Responsible for all design related activities including creation of engineering documentation such as design/detail drawings, bill of materials, instruction manuals, technical data for specification sheets, certification design requirements, product testing process and test data analysis.
? Work with Sales and Customers to develop new solutions to customer needs and specification, to address functional and performance concerns of end users and recommending product or application modifications.
? Interfaces with Design personnel in finalizing drawings of new product design and existing product modifications. Generates and approves Engineering Change Requests to production drawings to correct for modifications to design, inaccurate dimensions and tolerances, or print errors.
? Interfaces with Testing personnel in developing tests to accurately evaluate performance of new product design, existing product modifications, and general investigations.
? Interfaces with Sourcing personnel on vendor management.
? Interfaces with Vendor personnel on design, test, prototype, and production of new product designs and existing product modifications. Visits vendor facilities to evaluate their manufacturing processes and technical abilities.
? Interfaces with Quality Control personnel to investigate out-of-tolerance parts.
? Develop product test plans, identify instrumentation and measurements required, and perform testing to validate new product designs. Conduct testing and Design of Experiments. Conduct product benchmark analysis.
? Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

? Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in the field of Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
? 8 or more years of experience in a rotating equipment or pump design position.
? Knowledge of materials, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanisms, and pumps.
? Skilled in all areas of project management including Gantt schedule development and tracking, coordination of all personnel on team, assignment of action steps required, production of meeting minutes, tracking of costs, and maintenance of project records.
? SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro-Engineer and basic mechanical abilities. 举报 分享
