职位描述：
Overall Purpose of Job:
The Safety Engineer as part of the project team shall plan all safety activities of the different development phases of the safety lifecycle for the relevant project. The safety Engineer has to document the planned safety activities in the safety plan and shall maintain and track progress to the safety plan for the duration of the project. This position is looking forward to reinforce ATC’s Braking Systems Engineering capabilities and strengthen ATC’s ability to achieve aSPICE level2 and above.

Major Responsibilities:
List major areas of responsibilities and accountabilities of the position. Where appropriate, include quantifiable data; i.e., budget dollars.

Plan:
1. Identify projects requiring Safety Case to Safety Assessor
2. Analyze impact and plan all Safety Activities
3. Prepare project-specific Safety Plan by tailoring the template
4. Coordinate supporting activities (if necessary)
5. Supplier Management (for Safety topics)

Track:
1. Maintain the Safety Plan and SWPS during the safety lifecycle
2. Monitor process of the safety activities
3. Manage project related safety issues
4. Supplier Management (for Safety topics)

Perform:
1. Support Safety Analysis (i.e. HARA, SPFM, LFM, Random HW Fault Metric, FTA, CM/CC analysis)
2. Support Functional- and Technical Safety Concept creation
3. Review & approve safety-related work products
4. Participate in system change review board to determine the impact of changes to safety
5. Prepare Safety Analysis Report
6. Manage Safety Outsource (if necessary)

Communicate:
1. Main Customer Interface for safety topics, regular safety status reporting for customer (via SyE or directly)
2. Regular reporting to Safety Assessor

Key Competencies:
1. Problem analysis: autonomous analysis of complex problems with the aim of specification of safety requirements (methods, interdependences between system elements, model-based systems engineering)
2. Transfer the elaborated solution into a formal specification in liason with customer and/or analysis of an existing customer specification including mapping to internal TRW specification
3. Layout of system architectural design: autonomous analysis, evaluation and creation of suitable system design methods and system designs
4. Requirements management /Safety Case Engineering
5. Verification of suitable completion of safety case work products, checking interfaces, ensuring appropriate progress, verification of safety requirements
6. Judging and release of product development related documents according to TRW policies, e.g. requirements documents, design documents, test documents, interfaces and assessment reports.
7. Continuous improvement of product development processes, Participation in CI teams and committees
8. Participation or moderation of continuous improvement activities, e.g. six sigma, ETA, Engineering Excellence.
9. Technical leadership of employees.
10. Customer contact, e.g. agreements, negotiations, presentations. Job training for new employees.

Education: Diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar discipline
             
Experience:
1. > 2 years of experience in functional safety for SW based systems in the automotive industry
2. Knowledge of Braking products
3. Understanding of project management techniques
4. Strong negotiation skills are preferred
5. Process knowledge in ISO 26262, ISO 16949, A-SPICE
6. Tool knowledge in DOORS, Integrity, Apis IQ, Fault Tree Plus (Reliability workbench) 举报 分享
